Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a binding legal agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and BugViso (“we,” “us,” or “our”), regarding your access to and use of the BugViso website, cloud scanner, APIs, and downloadable reports (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing, browsing, registering for, or purchasing any products or services from BugViso, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all terms and conditions, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account or make a purchase.

BugViso is an automated website auditing and quality assurance platform. It executes headless browser crawls to assess performance, Core Web Vitals, visual stability, accessibility compliance (WCAG), security headers, and AI search engine readiness (Generative Engine Optimization).

We offer free on-screen audit previews as well as paid downloadable PDF reports and recurring subscription plans with advanced agency and monitoring features.

The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We reserve the right to modify, enhance, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when feasible.

You may only scan websites that you own, operate, or are explicitly authorized to audit.

By submitting a URL to BugViso, you represent and warrant that you hold all required rights and permissions to subject that domain to automated analysis.

You must not use the Service to attack, probe vulnerabilities, overwhelm, conduct denial-of-service tests, or gain unauthorized access to any system or third-party server.

When purchasing a single audit report (e.g. $1.49 USD) or a recurring subscription, your transaction will be securely processed by Paddle.com (Paddle Payments Ltd or Paddle.com Market Ltd). Paddle handles invoicing, VAT/GST and sales tax calculation and collection, and currency conversion.

BugViso does not store or process your complete credit card, debit card, or payment credentials on our servers. All financial data is governed by Paddle's Privacy Policy and Buyer Terms .

If you purchase a recurring subscription plan (such as Pro or Agency tiers):

• Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis until cancelled.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through your BugViso account settings or via the Paddle Buyer Portal at paddle.net.
• Continuous Access: Upon cancellation, your access remains active until the end of your prepaid billing period. No future renewals will be charged.
• 2-Day (48-Hour) Refund Policy: New subscription purchases are eligible for a full refund within 2 days (48 hours) of your initial purchase date, provided that your account has scanned fewer than 3 unique domains, in accordance with our Refund Policy.

When using BugViso, you agree not to:

• Audit sites without proper ownership or authorization;
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, crawler caps, or paywalls;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy BugViso's proprietary scoring algorithms;
• Resell access to BugViso without an active Agency Tier license;
• Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful automated agents to the platform;
• Use the platform for any illegal or infringing purpose under applicable law.

The BugViso website, logo, branding, source code, report templates, and proprietary analysis engines are the intellectual property of BugViso.

Reports generated for you belong to you and may be shared with your clients, stakeholders, or teams for internal and business analysis purposes. Factual audit metrics remain non-proprietary diagnostic observations.

The Service and all generated reports are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Automated audits are heuristic evaluations and may not catch all technical issues. BugViso does not guarantee specific search rankings, security immunity, or complete WCAG accessibility compliance. Reports should be used in conjunction with qualified engineering and legal review.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BugViso, its directors, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or data.

Our aggregate total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or use of the Service is strictly limited to the total amount paid by you to BugViso in the twelve (12) months preceding the incident.

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

Do not submit URLs that contain private authentication tokens, API secrets, or passwords in their query parameters, as these may be processed during the automated crawl.

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. When updates occur, we will adjust the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of BugViso after changes take effect indicates your agreement to the updated Terms.
